Rose: Hi, my name is Rosey Purkiss-McEndoo, I'm 18 years old and studying my second year at York College.. That involves both english literature, and language, media studies (of course) and an extended project in script and comedy writing. In media last year we concentrated on print based media amongst other things, and our coursework involved creating our own magazine front cover contents and double page spread. It was challenging but overall quite enjoyable, as I got to write an article and get involved with some photography and other creative jobs I so love to do. This year, I'm planning to create a full media package; digipak, music video, magazine advert and album cover as my coursework. This task will allow me to explore the music industry as a media outlet, I'll be able to gather skills in filming, production and editing and also advertisement methods. The music industry is one I have particular interest in so I am very excited to get started! ...Lets get started. R x
